Red Hill work activity Wednesday 19 September 2018

The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our next activity of 2018, which will be held on Wednesday 19  September 2018 starting at 9am

For this mid month activity, we plan to inspect the northern and western parts of the Red Hill Reserve between the Golf Course Access road and the water tanks above Deakin.

The details:

Time: Wednesday 19 September 2018 Work: 0900 to 1230, with byo morning tea at 1100.

Location: Meet at the maintenance track gate on the Golf Course access road, about 50m past the Red Hill Drive junction with the Golf Course access road 9am for the safety briefing

Activities:  cut and dab woody weeds, spray verbascum and thistle, map rabbit warrens and coconut ant nests.

 Conditions:  Flat to sloping. Open ground to dense woodland.

You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, eye protection, sunscreen cream, solid shoes, byo morning tea.

We bring: We will provide tools, dabbers, gloves and instructions

Note: It is important that you attend the safety briefing and instructions at 9.00am.  Children under 15 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. Individuals who are under 18 years must have parental or guardian consent.

Cancellation: The activity will be cancelled by email (if possible) if enough rain/wind is forecast to make planned work potentially hazardous.
