Red Hill Regenerators activity Wednesday 17 October 2018

The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our next activity of 2018, which will be held on Wednesday 17 October 2018 starting at 9am

Our previous activity resulted in thousands of verbascum being sprayed and/or chipped over a huge area along both sides of the ridge and around the Davidsons Trig.  The rabbits are also back in large numbers and the status of known and new warrens need to be mapped, using Collector App (if you wish to obtain training for this activity please ensure that you have the “Collector for ArCGIS’ App loaded on your smartphone). While spraying the verbascum some new rabbit warrens were mapped.

For this next activity we will move down to the southern end of the Hill where verbascum have been spotted together with significant numbers of briar rose.

There is also an opportunity to water some of the plantings.

Note that the next activity on Sunday 4 November 2018 will be a nature walk, conducted by Dr Michael Mulvaney. More details will follow.
