FGC development EIS must wait for the Red Hill Integrated Plan

On 15 October 2018, MBark submitted an application to the Commonwealth Dept of Environment & Energy for an Environmental Impact Statement (2018/8277) to be prepared regarding the proposed residential development on part of the Federal Golf Club. This application was confirmed by the DoE&E on 17 December 2018.

On 9 January 2019, in an email to the Director General, Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate, the co-convenor of the Garran and Hughes Residents’ Action Group (GHRAG) requested that the EIS not proceed pending completion of the Red Hill Integrated Plan (more…)
