Unauthorised bike track construction on Red Hill

The Red Hill Nature Reserve has recently been targeted by groups who wish to construct unauthorised mountain bike tracks and jumps within the Reserve. This has resulted in significant environmental damage from the construction activity. To prevent this damage, and to assist in speedy rehabilitation, members of the public are urged to contact the Parks & Conservation Ranger at the time construction activity is occurring, to enable a Ranger to interview those persons when they are engaged in the activity. To contact a duty Ranger, phone 6207 2087, and select option ‘wildlife’.
