Our next activity will be on Wednesday 17 August 2022 from 9am until 12.30pm. We will continue to work through the high value parts of the Reserve above Mugga Way, Red Hill.

Location: Park and assemble at the first gate on the left on Gowrie Drive above Mugga Way. There will be an information and safety briefing at 9am.
Activities: We plan to work again along the slope towards the lookout. Focus on verbascum, cut/dab woody weeds – Cootamundra wattle, cotoneaster, pyracanthus and briar rose.
Conditions: steep slopes, rocky in parts, some open bush.
You bring: Water to drink, hat, leather gloves, long sleeved shirt, long pants essential, eye protection, sunscreen, solid enclosed shoes. BYO morning tea.
We bring: Tools – secateurs, loppers, saws, some mattocks, herbicide dabbers, basic first aid kit, and instructions.
Note: It is important that you attend the activity safety briefing at 0900. A byo morning tea is usually held at 11am, with an opportunity to discuss matters of relevance to the Group. Such discussions constitute ‘General Meetings’ as defined by the Rules of our organisation and may be minuted.
