Regenerators awarded $27,700

Under the 2024/25 ACT Government Environmental Grants Program, The Regenerators have been awarded $27,700 to continue the eradication of blackberry infestation in Red Hill Nature Reserve. Eradication work started in early 2024, when major infestations were mapped followed by $11,000 being spent on spraying blackberry in the southern end of the reserve. The new funding will ensure that all blackberry plants across the Reserve can be sprayed, and that any regrowth of previously sprayed plants can also be undertaken.
