Minister Gentleman made a Ministerial Statement on the delivery of the Government’s weeds management program in response to a November 2015 motion moved by the Opposition Environment spokesperson Nicole Lawder. The Conservation Council will continue to press the Government to increase and maintain resources for adequate invasive weed management. That amount is over $2million not the $1.5million allocated in the TAMS Budget for 2015-16.
