The Federal Golf Club submitted on 18 May 2022 a proposal (No 2022-09201) to develop a retirement village and water infrastructure on the golf course. The proposal has been submitted to the Commonwealth Department of Water and the Environment for assessment to determine if the proposal is a controlled action for the purposes of the EPBC Act.
