The June Working Bee will be held on Sunday 1 June 2014 . We plan to work from where we left off last month, which was a little south of the Davidson Trig. This time we will set up our tools south of the trig and near the saddle just to the north of the plantings where the tracks cross as shown on Map23 B13 of the White Pages. Two cars will leave the end of Brereton Street at 8.45am for those who need a lift. If you are walking, the shortest route is via the path at the top of Astley Place, Garran.We will be chipping or spraying verbascum and thistles and cutting and daubing woody weeds. Please wear the usual long trousers, long sleeve shirt and hat. Bring water and something for yourself for morning tea. We will work from 9am to about 12.30pm. All tools and instructions will be provided. The event will be cancelled via an email at 5pm on Saturday if rain is forecast.
