The Red Hill Regenerators writes to invite you to help with our June working bee on Sunday 7 June 2015.
Last month we completed removing woody weeds along the lower slopes of Red Hill north of Flinders Way. However, lots of woody weeds can still be found further up the hill in the same area of Red Hill. So this month we are focusing on removing woody weeds along the upper slopes of Red Hill behind Mugga Way, north from the Flinders Way/Mugga Way parking and access. The details:
Time: Sunday 7 June 2015 Work: 0900 to 1230, with byo morning tea at 1100

Location: 100m uphill from the small gravel car park on Mugga Way at its intersection with Flinders way, Red Hill.
Activities: Cutting and dabbing woody weeds and Cootamundra Wattles on the uphill side of the wire fence located about half way up the hill.
Conditions: Moderately steep, some gullies and brambles.
You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, sunburn cream, solid shoes, eye protection, byo morning tea.
We bring: Gloves, tools, herbicides, safety briefing and instructions
Note: The event will be cancelled by email (if practicable), in the unlikely event of rain.
