The next midweek working bee will be held on Friday 15 April 2014, from 11am to 12.30, then 1.15pm to 3pm. Meet at the top of the laneway towards the Eastern end of Glasgow Street, Hughes (between 57 & 59 Glasgow St). From the lane way, take the path straight up to the gap in the fence and the tools will be there. If you can’t find us, please call Ross (0415 256 951). The work will involve cutting woody weeds, spraying and chipping thistles. Please wear sturdy clothes and shoes. Bring a hat, water and some lunch. We’ll stop at 15 Downes Place for lunch and if you’re starting at lunch time, please join us then for a chat before we start the afternoon session. Gloves, tools and herbicide will be provided and training if required.
