To RHR members
Thank you for your interest in Red Hill Nature Reserve and the Red Hill Regenerators. The group is managed by an active committee and all the committee members are standing for re-election at the 2024 AGM on Sunday 1 September 2024.
However, as we expand our activities outlined in the President’s Annual Report, we need some more assistance and I ask that you consider putting your hand up to give a hand. There are some tasks that are not time-consuming or difficult while others would make a big difference to our operations and outcomes for Red Hill. We’re happy to hear from anyone willing to give some time. Here are some roles you might think about:
- Reserve Equipment Officers. The role is to take and store the tools and/or dabbers and bring them to our work sessions when Equipment Officers are unavailable. This happens a few times a year.
- Social Media Officer. Someone with experience in this area could make a significant contribution to the group.
- Other roles include people providing a focus on birdlife, tracks, regeneration of low-quality areas or other aspects of the Reserve.
Our 2024 AGM will be held straight after the Sunday 1 September Working Bee at 11 am. More details about this work activity will be emailed shortly.
Please see our website here at https://redhillregenerators.org.au/?page_id=460 under the heading AGM, for the associated papers including the AGM Agenda, 2023 Draft AGM Minutes, President’s Report, and Treasurer’s Statement.
