Red Hill Work Activity on Sunday 13 September 2026 from 9am to 12 noon

The focus of this work activity will be on the removal of the remaining Vinca weeds in the southern part of the Reserve near Hindmarsh Drive and also tackling woody weeds in the area.  As a result of recent efforts, the bulk of the dense mats of Vinca have been removed.  At the last work activity 10 large bags of Vinca weeds were removed from the area.  To avoid the patches regrowing it is important that any remaining bits of Vinca are removed.  While working in this area we will also tackle woody weeds.  The Vinca will be tackled with mattocks, and the woody weeds will be tackled with loppers and saws.
