The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our next activity of 2018, which will be held on Wednesday 14 November 2018 starting at 9am
Unfortunately (or fortunately) our October mid month activity was cancelled due to rain. So this activity on 14 November will return to complete the rained out one.
For this next activity we will move down to the southern end of the Hill where verbascum have been spotted together with significant numbers of briar rose.
Time: Wednesday 14 November 2018 Work: 0900 to 1230, with byo morning tea at 1100.

Location: Meet at the reserve gate close to the Tamar Street junction with Hindmarsh Drive
Activities: cut and dab briar rose and woody weeds, spray and chip verbascum and thistle, map rabbit warrens and coconut ant nests.
You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, eye protection, sunscreen cream, solid shoes, byo morning tea.
We bring: We will provide tools, dabbers, gloves and instructions
Note: It is important that you attend the safety briefing and instructions at 9.00am. Children under 15 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. Individuals who are under 18 years must have parental or guardian consent. Those wishing to use the manual spray equipment are strongly urged to obtain free training from Parks & Conservation in the use of chemicals.
Cancellation: The activity will be cancelled by email (if possible) if enough rain/wind is forecast to make planned work potentially hazardous, or high temperatures are forecast.
