Location: Park and assemble at the very southern end of Mugga Way, below Tamar Street. There will be a briefing at 9am.
Activities: We plan to chip patches of young verbascum located on the hillside above Tamar Street. We have purchased four more sickles to use to cut the flower spikes. There will also be secateurs and loppers available.
Conditions: gentle to steep slopes, rocky in parts, some open bush. Dense verbascum
You bring: Water to drink, hat, gloves, long sleeved shirt, long pants essential, eye protection, sunscreen, solid enclosed shoes. BYO morning tea. It is essential that you bring gloves, hand sanitiser, your own pen for signing the book (and your own tools if possible) and your smart phone to register via the Park Care QR code. We bring: Some hand sanitiser, disinfected tools, and instructions. (See Covid 19 Advice below)
Note: It is important that you attend the Covid safety and activity briefing at 0900 at the activity site. A byo morning tea is usually held at 11am, with an opportunity to discuss matters of relevance to the Group. Such discussions constitute ‘General Meetings’ as defined by the Rules of our organisation and may be minuted.

Covid 19 Advice
- Wearing a mask is not required, but is encouraged, particularly when the group is gathered at the briefing, morning tea and conclusion.
2. Practice 1.5m social distancing at all times. Do not share tools while working;
3. All RHR tools will be disinfected before and after use. If you have your own tools and a pen to sign the book please bring them;
4. Some hand sanitiser will be available. Hands should be sanitised at the group meeting place, before and after using RHR tools. If you have your own gloves and /or hand sanitiser please bring them; 5. Please do not sign the attendance book or handle RHR equipment without first sanitising your hands; 6. Register your attendance on the Park Care QR code provided
7. If you feel unwell please stay at home. 8. If you are eligible for a Covid vaccination, please get one.

Cancellation: The activity will be cancelled by email (if possible) if rain/wind is forecast which could make planned work potentially hazardous, high temperatures before midday are forecast, total fire bans are announced, air pollution is ‘hazardous’ or additional Covid 19 restrictions in force.
