The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our first working bee of 2017 on Sunday 5 February 2017
Starting time will be the earlier time of 8am, to avoid the hottest time of the day.

Welcome to 2017 and another year enjoying Red Hill!
This month we will continue to work on the ‘shadier’ west side of the hill at the same location as our December working bee. There is still a good supply of woody weeds, some thistles and verbascum to work on.
The details:
Time: Sunday 5 January 2017 Work: 0800 to 1100, with byo morning tea at 1000.

Location: Meet just inside the Reserve fence. Park at the top of Bonwick Place, Garran (off Curlews Street) and walk to the maintenance track and then walk about 50m south. We will work both north and south from there up to the ridge.
Activities:
You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, sunburn cream, solid shoes, eye protection, byo morning tea.
We bring: Gloves, tools, herbicides. Safety briefing and instructions at 8.15am. In the event of an equipment shortage, priority for tools will be given to Red Hill Regenerators members.
Note: Children under 16 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. The event will be cancelled by email (if practicable) in the event of rain, or extreme heat.
