The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our next working bee which will be held on Sunday 7 May 2017 at 9am
After two very strenuous working bees in April we have managed to remove the large grove of Nettle trees near the Parliament House lookout. The final patches growing along the fence were kindly chainsawed by our helpful Parks and Conservation ranger.
This month we plan to work along the lower slopes on the Mugga way side of the hill to tidy up any remaining woody weeds which were missed from our weeding sessions last year.
The details:
Time: Sunday 7 May 2017 Work: 0900 to 1200, with byo morning tea at 1100.

Location: Meet at the main car park on Mugga Way
Activities:
You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, sunscreen cream, solid shoes, eye protection, byo morning tea.
We bring: Gloves, tools, herbicides. Safety briefing and instructions at 9.15am. In the event of an equipment shortage, priority for tools will be given to Red Hill Regenerators members.
Note: Children under 16 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. Work parties will be cancelled by email (if possible) if: a) the forecast is for > 35 deg C, b) it is a total fire ban day, c) there is lightning, or d) there is heavy rain.
