Regenerators working bee Sunday 5 June 2016

The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our fourth working bee of 2016 on Sunday 5 June 2016

It was a shame that the weather intervened to prevent us from working on Red Hill at our May 1 working bee. Weather permitting, our fourth working bee for 2016 will be held on Sunday 5 June. We will also be welcoming the Mt Mugga Scouts to this working bee, when we will focus on spraying, chipping and cut/daub verbascum and other woody weeds.

The details:

Time: Sunday 5 June 2016 Work: 0900 to 1230, with byo morning tea at 1100

Location: Meet in the main parking area off Mugga Way, where the Parkcare signs are located.

Activities:

1. Cut and daub verbascum and woody weeds;
2. Locate and record rabbit warrens using Collector App.
Conditions:  Gently sloping open woodland.

You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, sunburn cream, solid shoes, eye protection, byo morning tea.

We bring: Gloves, tools, bags, herbicides. Safety briefing and instructions at 9.15am.

Note: Children under 16 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. The event will be cancelled by email (if practicable)  in the event of rain or extreme heat.
