Our next working bee will be held on Sunday 7 September 2014 from 9am to 12.30pm. We will meet by the gate into the reserve at the end of Rusden Street, Garran (See Whitepages Map 23 A14). We plan to attack woody weeds along the reserve hill slopes and those with Chemcert certificates will be able to spray for verbascum, thistles and other herbaceous weeds.
Wear protective clothing – long pants, long sleeves, eyewear. Bring water and something for morning tea at 11am. We will provide tools, herbicides and gloves and instructions.
If rain is forecast an email will be sent on Saturday evening to advise of possible cancellation.
