It was a stunning, sunny and warm morning on the October long weekend, when 14 volunteer friends and members of the Regenerators arrived ready to help cut and daub woody weeds in the Reserve close to Hindmarsh Drive. We focused on the usual culprits – cononeaster, pyracantha and briar rose together with a range of deciduous invaders including olive, apple and box elder. Thanks to all who contributed to over 40 person hours of great effort.
The next working bee will be Sunday 2 November 2014. More details will be emailed out closer to the time.
