The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to a tree planting event which will be held on Sunday 18 June 2017 at 9am
We will be planting 200 tube stock seedlings on Red Hill as part of our continuing effort to restore and ‘shrub up’ the landscape. Our tree planting started in 2011 along the ridge above Hughes and continued in two locations at the south end of the reserve. This planting will provide some infill in the area above Hughes. See location.

Time: Sunday 18 June 2017 Work: 0900 to 1200, with byo morning tea at 1100.

Location: Meet at the Rusden Street, Garran gate at 8.45am to drive up (or carpool) to the planting site (mostly sealed road)
Activities:
You bring: Water, hat, long sleeved shirt, long pants, sunscreen cream, solid shoes, byo morning tea.
We bring: Tools, gloves, plants, stakes, guards, buckets. Safety briefing and instructions at 9.15am.
Note: Children under 16 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. Event will be cancelled by email (if possible) if: a) the forecast is for > 35 deg C, b) it is a total fire ban day, c) there is lightning, or d) there is heavy rain.
