Red Hill Regenerators activity on Wednesday 1 October 2025 from 9am to 12.30pm

At previous activities on Red Hill, we focussed on removing Cootamundra wattles from the hillside above Mugga Way.  While a large number have been removed, many still remain to be cut and dabbed.  In addition, a number of large Cootamundra wattle trees which are too big to cut by hand need to be removed in order to reduce the seed load.  This Wednesday we will return to the hillside to continue cutting smaller wattles by hand. We have also arranged for park ranger Tenzin to return with his chain saw to help with the larger trees.  Most of the wattles can be accessed from the maintenance track behind Red Hill.
