Red Hill activity on Sunday 2 November 2025, from 9am to 11.30am

This activity will focus on locating patches of weeds in the southern part of the Reserve.  Volunteers will be provided with large-scale aerial images of the southern part of the Reserve on a sturdy backing, along with weed identification pictures, and a pen.  The task will involve dividing up the southern part of the Reserve and undertaking meandering surveys marking the location of weed patches on the aerial image.  So, no cutting, digging, lopping, sawing or dabbing.  Just an extended walk in the Reserve and keen-eyed observation.  The information gathered in the survey will inform future activities and provide guidance for contractors carrying out weed control.
