The Red Hill Regenerators invite you to our second working bee of 2016 on Sunday 6 March 2016
When we had our last working bee it was noted that due to the January rain there had been a massive germination of verbascum, mainly on the east slope between Davidson’s Trig and Hindmarsh Drive. Since then some hardy Regenerators have been putting in long hours out in the heat spraying large numbers. But there are still many waiting to be sprayed.
So our March working bee will be based at the saddle immediately uphill from the Brereton Street cul de sac, to enable us to work both north west on small blackberry outbreaks, east on a large stand of mature nettle trees, and south east on verbascum spraying (for those with a Chemcert certificate).
