It was a perfect sunny winters day on Red Hill on Sunday 13 June, for the Heritage Walk, organised by the Southern Area Catchment Group. The walk was conducted by local Ngunnawal custodians Wally and Tyrone Bell who described the significance of this part of their country, local bush tucker plants, significant sites and old scar trees.

Wally Bell points out an old scar on a eucalyptus close to the Red Track where a bark coolamon was cut out many years ago
The two old eucalypts close to the Red Track are significant to women, and men should avoid this area.
